We continue our presentation with the first great motor yachts manufacturer from my both lists, and this is Azimut from Italy, again. It seems that Italians are great boat designers, and I've noticed that even other famous yacht builders, from all over the world, are employing Italian designers services or are linking themselves with some great Italian yacht designers. You see that I can't keep myself from using the word great when it comes to Italian boat designers, and I'm usually very … [Read more...]

Amel of La Rochelle
Chantiers AMEL as this is called in French (in French is a plural), is a sailing yacht manufacturer company which started business in 1968, in La Rochelle, France. They have two yacht models to showcase, and the yard, or team, or no matter other description is as bombastic as a French can conceive it. So, a lot of words before hand. Now, because I'm making this review step by step, I describe the first feeling of the website and the product. I'm not personally influenced by the feedback, but I … [Read more...]
Some Things About Alden
I already said in a very recent post that I don't think if they're still building Alden yachts these days. I was completely right. Above you have aWalkaround, the smaller one. Next pic is their inner space. Of course, I haven't found engine and motor pics on the site, which is very low placed on Alexa traffic (26,331,803 today, December 4, 2011) "The boat's ample deck space, enhanced by a sizable swim platform and … [Read more...]
Yet more yacht manufacturer lists
In a previous post, I have compiled a list from the prestigious site yachtworld.com, a site managed by a multinational corporation, and one of the best represented on the internet, in the business. The same corporation owns Boats.com maybe the most connected and logical name for a domain in this branch. Anyway, the research one made there, is dynamic, is always changing, because new names appear overnight and the lists are different on any new search. Unfortunately, sometimes, this is not very … [Read more...]
