Apreamare‘s history dates back to 1849 when Giovanni Aprea started to hand build rowing and sailing boats used for fishing in Sorrento, basing his craft on the shape and form of the traditional gozzo sorrentino. It was in the years following the Second World War, that the first major change was introduced with automobile motors being fitted to the boats. And so the boatyard started to produce the first gozzi used as pleasure boat, a sector which immediately became the most important, surpassing professional fishing boats. Cataldo Aprea, bursting with new groundbreaking ideas, joined the family boatyard in 1973 with Salvatore Pollio, a constructor who picked up on the great potential and with creativity, decided to go and open the Apreamare boatyard in 1983.
They build in Torre Annunziata (Naples), the following models: Apreamare 64 fly, Apreamare 64, Apreamare 48, Apreamare 44, Apreamare 38 open, Apreamare 38 comfort, Apreamare 32 open, Apreamare 32 comfort, Apreamare 28 open, Apreamare 28 midcabin, Apreamare 28 cabin, Smeraldo 45, and Maestro range.

The Apreamare 64 Fly has a LOA: 19.40 m, Beam: 5.60 m, Draft: 1.46 m, a displacement of 29.5 t, Main Engine: twin MAN 2 X 1100 HP, with a cruising speed: 29 knots, and a maximum speed of 33 knots. The estimated price for a new model is $1,2 Million.
The Apreamare 48 has a LOA of 14.64 m, a beam of 4.70 m and a Draft of 0.98 m. Displacement fully laden: 22 t. 2 x 600 hp engines. Accommodation for up to 7 in 3 cabins plus saloon. A model from 2007 was around Euro 540,000 on yachtowner.
An Apreamare 38 comfort from 2010, was for sale with around $270 K. Not too bad, knowing that we have there a LOA of 11.29 m, a Beam of 3.55 m, a Draft of 0.77 m, one luxurious cabin for owner and another one little for the crew, with a Volvo Penta D6 of 660 HP, developing a cruising speed of 25 knots and maximum speed of 29 knots.
The saloon is beautiful.
Galley, as well, is exactly what one needs.
The luxurious double cabin, above, is nothing under an Azimuth’s or Ferretti’s.
I’m going to show just one more model, the Maestro 65, which is absolutely beautiful, but has a price range (depending on the building year, of course) between $1,9 Million to $3,3 Million.
How I like when I find an engine room pic, be it only on yachtworld. The manufacturers, rarely expose them, as there are always other people’s concern.

The plans show how good was this yacht planned. LOA: 20.17 m, Beam: 5.74 m, Dry Weight: 47 t, Main Engines: twin inboard MAN with a total of 1100 HP and a cruising speed of 29 kn (with maximum speed: 34 kn).
Maestro range goes actually from 51, through 56, 66 to 82. The Maestro above, was the last presented today, for the rest, please consult the site. They say there that Maestro is the Wind, the Sea and the Man. Their Flash website with an almost 8 Million Alexa rank don’t show more than pics. Anyway, if you search the Marinas, you’ll find desirable Maestro and Apreamare yachts in general. Some models are quite affordable to everybody.
