I’m going to continue the presentation of the motor yachts, editing this old post.
Aicon Yachts is an Italian shipbuilding company. Aicon Group was established in 1999 and since then has rapidly grown to be one of the major Italian shipyards, launching well designed luxury yachts. The company has dynamic operators in design, construction and commercialization of Flybridge and Open motor yachts, which are built not only to be aesthetically beautiful , but also to be extremely comfortable , functional and seaworthy. (Aren’t they all?) They developed a collection of Flybridges from 54 to 85 and open (62, 72, 82).
Some sample models:
The flybridge 54 model has a LOA (length overall) of 57’9″ (17,61 m) and is equipped with 2 Caterpillars as M/E, each of 705 or 800 HP.
The Aicon Flybridge 56. Shipyard’s first luxury superyacht Aicon 56, was presented in 2001 at the Genoa Boat Show. A year later, she went onto winning the World Yacht Trophy award for the best boat in the Flybridge sector, between 50 and 60 feet, at the Festival de la Plaisance in Cannes.

Bathrooms are extremely comfortable. Alfresco dining is available outside, on the main aft deck and the flydeck provides additional comfort for entertaining or relaxing. With a high cruising speed and a great range of toys and entertainment facilities, Aicon 64 is the perfect small crewed motor yacht which is perfectly to take in the Greek Islands. This is some cruise firm presentation.
With a L.O.A. of 20.40 m (66′ 11″) and a beam of 5.28m (17′ 3″), accepting a crew of three and eight guests in four cabins, a Flybridge 64 develops a maximum speed of 32 knots, with twin MAN M/E of 1.224 HP. Prices vary between $1,2 Mil to $1.4 Mil. Not cheap at all.
The Aicon Flybridge 75 or 85 (from this position is hard to make a difference.) A 75 model is 23,22 meters with 2 Caterpillars of 1550 HP, and the 85 model is 26,5 m with twin Caterpillars of 1825 HP

Prices on yachtworld, one of the most prestigious sites specialized in boat selling, are between a few hundred Euros to several millions, depending of LOA and the year of built. I said that because they differ even from year to year. Not sure if the economic crisis is over, finding clients for such luxury isn’t easy at all. I found a lot of charter firms for Aicons, meaning that is better to “exploit” the investment than to benefit from it, alone. Maintenance costs good money.
