The Riva boatyard was established in 1842 on Lake Iseo, in Sarnico – Italy. Riva rapidly gained great respect and recognition; the boatyard flourished also thanks to the far-sightedness of Ernesto Riva, who had succeeded his father Pietro and introduced internal combustion engines on Riva boats. Between the 1920s and the 1930s Riva, through its racing yachts, collected a large number of records and victories in national and international competitions. In 1989, one year after the English Group Vickers, of which the brand Rolls Royce was part too, had bought 100% of the shares of Riva, Gino Gervasoni, who had married Carlo Riva’s sister, left the shipyard after 41 years of activity.
On 1 May 2000 the Ferretti Group took over the Riva boatyard, which could thus go back to flying the Italian flag. The Group had a strong will to relaunch Riva products and the brand.
I’m going to present the Riva models I found on their site, at the moment, not the old one. They are as follows:
In the “Open” range: Iseo, Aquariva Super, Rivarama Super, Rivale, and 63′ Virtus.
In the “Coupé” range: 63′ Vertigo, 68′ Ego Super, 86′ Domino,
122′ Mythos.
In the “Flybridge” range: Sportriva 56′, 75′ Venere Super, 92′ Duchessa.
There are also some new projects: the 50 MT, and the 88′ Florida.

In conclusion, notice that Riva, being one of the oldest company in the Ferretti Group and in Europe anyway, is also very dear, in the range of millions, at least these models presented here, are in the million range if they are very recently built. You may find second hand with under a million dollars. A Mythos from 2014, is almost $15M.
