Friedrichshafen is a university city on the northern shoreline of Lake Constance (the Bodensee) in Southern Germany, near both the borders of Switzerland and Austria. It is the district capital (Kreisstadt) of the Bodensee district in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. During September 19-27, the main attraction in the zone is Interboot.
The INTERBOOT is more than just an exhibition to look at, which is a big advantage for the exhibitors. They want to arouse people’s enthusiasm for water sports. There is a varied entertainment program, organized with the help of the Sports Group, among others, which comprises every year about five hundred events to join in and cheer on. They make the fair visit a fascinating event for experienced water sports athletes, as well as for young or new groups of potential buyers. For the rest of the year they stay also active. With the Interboot on-site they attend events in the target countries and with the Interboot-Card they have created a community which offers water sports enthusiasts benefits and experience value all year long.

Interboot Journal, the exhibitors’ catalogue, provides you with indices of exhibitors and halls, as well as useful information all around. It also offers interesting articles about the manifold activities and latest trends on the fair.

The Lake of Constance region is well-known for its beautiful landscape. About six million overnight stays this year prove how popular is this travel destination. Apart from the unique location of the international water sports exhibition, the Messe Friedrichshafen (the Fair Organization) offers dedicated service and high comfort. It is easy to get familiar with its architecture and the compact area. The infrastructure is very modern and it includes the Lake of Constance into the fair concept, though providing exhibition possibilities without comparison with other shows of the same range.
At this fair you can perfectly accentuate your product – in the hall, on the premises, or directly on the the Lake of Constance, in the Harbor. It offers you a large water sports testing area, with its 535 square kilometers and with more than a hundred berths, numerous exhibitors have ideal demonstrating and testing possibilities. Top sports events and a spectacular show with loads of activities to join in, ensure a high media presence and visitor frequency in the harbor area and along the water front.
It was really a stuffing of boat shows this month, and I still hope to be able to review the Monaco Yacht Show, and Auckland Boat Show in time, until the Genova Boat Show, which starts on September 30.
Tell me your thoughts and excuse my German.
