The Amsterdam Boat Show, organized by HISWA at RAI Amsterdam, is a festival who celebrates water sports fans indoors. It is held in 2016 between 16 to 20 March. HISWA stands for Dutch Water Sports Industry Association. If you are looking for a new boat, you will find a wide array of launches, open sailboats, day sailing boats and speedboats, most of which are ready to immediately be used.
The Association also has a fun sports section which offers everything in the field of windsurfing, kitesurfing, Stand Up Paddling, wakeboarding, kayaking and more.

Amsterdam Boat Show Worlds
The exhibition is organized in seven sections, or “worlds”:
Classic
This is a sector of construction, management, maintenance and preservation of classic and traditional vessels (previously organized separately as the Classic Boat Show in Enkhuizen).
Sailing
There are a few pavilions on this section: with a wide range of keel boats, day sailing boats, leeboard boats, open trailer-transportable boats, catamarans and trimarans; including day sailing pavilion, open sailboat pavilion and sailing schools pavilion.
There are four boats nominated as the “outstanding sailing boat of the year”: Dragonfly 25, Hanse 315 (who also is the winner), Italia 998, and Maxi 1200.
Fun Sports
This means everything involving fun sports such as wind and kite surfing, wakeboarding, canoeing, kayaking and Stand Up Paddling (SUP), with even more demo activities in and around the Water Fun Zone.
Parts and Accessories
What else can be found here if not navigation equipments, electronics, clothing, sails and deck fittings, inboard engines and maintenance, including maintenance pavilion and marina street.
Shop
There is one great pavilion organized as a large “shopping center” for direct sales, with a central catwalk for fashion shows and product presentations as well as lots of attractive exhibition offers.
There are six nominated as “product of the year 2016”: a windsurfing kit named Irig 4, Load Bearing Collar Manchet, Quantum Wireless CHIRP radar, the Lume On Spinlock, and the motors Torqeedo Cruise 20HP and 40HP, and the rowing boat from Volans COASTAL which also won.

Sloop
This is a section with a varied range of launches, tenders, weekenders and trailers, including an electric sailing pavilion.
Speed
There is a great offer of of speed- and rubber boats, RIBs and outboard engines, including speedboat pavilion.
There are five boats here, nominated for “powerboat of the year 2016”: Aluqa Abalone 28 (who eventually became the winner), Boarncruiser 1200 Elegance, Lillebror 78, Spoker Saloon, and Super Lauwersmeer Evolve OC.
You can profit and buy your entrance tickets for €12,50 instead of €15,00 on site, exactly as you would buy them online. There is still time until March 20, it seems very affordable and a promise for a lot of fun, so, hurry up, you still can make it!
