A little time before this 2016 spring, the Bavaria E40 was known as Project DA10. The E in the name stands for Economic, Ecologic, Exploring, Efficient and Emotional. The first prototype was ready in spring 2016.
Bavaria E40 – Description
A classic contemporary design, a clever space concept and efficiency were the central themes of the first development steps. Result: There will be a SEDAN and a FLY version of the BAVARIA E40, alternatively in a 2- or in a 3-cabin version. The central place of the life on board of the BAVARIA E40 is the spacious salon. Both from the central helm stand, from the big drawing room table and from the completely furnished galley with cooker, stove and a big fridge you can enjoy the perfect 360-degree view of the sea and of the nature.
Below the saloon is the engine.. With a revolutionary space concept it is possible to create more space for all cabins, but particularly for the cabins in the aft ship.
A proper suite is planned for the owner in the fore ship. A thought-out full light concept with windows and big hatches in the deck creates a bright ambience in the owner´s cabin. Beside a king-size bed and storage spots, the future owner will also have his own bathroom with a shower.
As a semi displacement motor yacht, the Bavaria E40 of is designed for economical cruising, safety, comfort and travel in harmony with nature. Engines like Volvo Penta between 75 HP and 300 HP plus a Hybrid propulsion, give the necessary driving power. The body form, engine, gearing, and propellers of the Bavaria E40 have already been thoroughly tested, optimized, and tuned by computer simulations in large series of experiments to ensure an as low as possible fuel consumption and the natural resources’ protection.
Reminder
Bavaria-Yachtbau consists of a 200,000 square meter shipyard with a 70,000 square meter production area that includes the lamination halls, the joinery, workshops and five assembly lines. Hull and deck at first move separately from station to station until the final work has been signed off. Only then are the hull and the deck put together to become a BAVARIA.
