The yacht Principessa Vaivia owned by the billionaire patron of Mediolanum, Ennio Doris, used to be Silvio Berlusconi’s property. It is a sailing vessel built in 1991 and currently sailing under the Italian flag. The luxury superyacht is over 40 meters long and about 8 meters wide. In 2002, Ennio Doris bought the sailing boat from Berlusconi for around 8 million euros.

Accommodations
Simply stated, the interior accommodations aboard Principessa Vaivia are a study in practical, understated elegance. Her interior is crafted in varnished teak, accented with the highest quality fabrics and soft goods.
Her main deck area is comprised of the aft cockpit area, main salon aft, L-shaped dinette and formal dining area forward. Principessa Vaivia has earned the reputation of having among the best living areas of any yacht in her size range.
The aft cockpit has three separate areas, informal round seating aft, full dining table and a wet bar forward. The recessed cockpit area is serviced with a day head, stair to the flybridge and two entrances to the Main Salon. The flybridge is easily accessed via a circular ladder from the aft cockpit or from the pilothouse and provides comfortable seating for sailing, sunning and relaxing while underway or at anchor. Just forward of the cockpit through a pair of glass panel submarine doors is the main salon which has intimate lounge seating with two sofas and two armchairs. Moving forward past the pilothouse ladder is an “L” shaped settee and table with seats for 4. The formal dining area is forward to port with an oval shaped teak table with loose seating for eight.
The lower deck is comprised of 4 owner/guest cabins aboard Principessa Vaivia. The Master cabin is below deck to starboard with a Queen bed and full ensuite with bath and bidet. There are 3 additional guest cabins: One with a double bed, a single bed plus Pullman, one with 2 single beds plus Pullman and one with upper and lower single beds. These 3 guest cabins all feature ensuite facilities with shower and bidets. The Master cabin and upper and lower berth cabin can be enjoyed as a suite by use of a common door separating them from the rest of the lower deck.
Forward of the guest accommodations are the crew accommodations and galley. There are 4 crew staterooms providing comfortable quarters for 8 crew. A crew lounge, laundry, ships office and full pilothouse enables the crew to provide efficient service for the guests as well as maintain safe operation of the vessel in all conditions.
