The 2015 edition are taking place between October 6-11. The exact address is as following:
Marinturk İstanbul City Port
Batı Mahallesi, Sahil Yolu,
34890 Pendik – İstanbul
İstanbul, 34890
Turkey
Below, you have the map as well! I love Pendik, where I have spent some nice time a few years ago. It is a very nice and calm district on Istanbul’s Asian side.
It’s not new, it is a fair with a thirty-five years experience, and because all the exposed vessels are afloat, it was nicknamed by the organizers: “The Only Boat Show Afloat”. Of course it is the only afloat boat show in Turkey, not in Europe, in Asia, or in the whole world.

With its continuous growth every year, the 35th edition is struggling to become one of the leading yacht shows in Europe. It’s hard, because I don’t see too many international brands listed on their own, excepting Sunseeker. By giving the customers the chance to test every unique boat/yacht on the show, International Boat Show Istanbul maintained its growth by reaching 150.000 sq meters in total. More than three hundred mega yachts, motor yachts, sailboats, boats and catamarans from three to fifty meters of length will be launched in the 35th International edition which will gather an estimated 50.000 visitors from all around the world.
Istanbul Boat Show is a member of IFBSO (International Boat Show Organizers Association) and has a strong cooperation with TURMEPA, a pioneer NGO devoted to the biodiversity protection of seas.

The International Istanbul Boat Show is one of the best yacht trading platforms in Turkey; It’s the only place where the yachts, motor yachts, boat equipment and accessories of international and (let’s say) the best national brands will be exhibited together. It is an event organized by UBM EMEA. Their Turkish branch claims that there, at the fair, will rise the best marketing and sales opportunities in the industry, because there is also the outstanding advantage to test drive a great deal of boats.
The exhibitor’s names are not very important, but here’s a list with the yacht brands exposed through brokers and dealers: Aegean Yachts, Bali Catamaran, Bavaria, Bayliner, Beneteau, Delphia Yachts, Dufour, Fairline, Farr, Fountaine Pajot, Four Winns, Hanse, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Lotus Marine, Monte Carlo, North Aegean Yachts, Outremer Catamarans, Pirelli, Prestige, Rhea Trawler, Sealine, Solaris, Sunseeker, Wellcraft, Williams, Yener.
The tickets vendor company claims that because of the numerous events during the show, the 35th Istanbul International Boat Show will be the trending queen in town! I doubt it just because is far away of the places where the great majority of foreign visitors will be staying.
Here’s a youtube video from the previous edition:
On October 2’nd, four days before the opening, a distinguish elite of “dear guests” will take part to the launch of twenty new boats on the Bosporus, boats which will also be present at the show.
